There are many other good Christian churches in Winnipeg, but I have named only a few that I have heard are good for international students, and churches that I trust. However, my recommendations do NOT mean these churches (or everything that happens in these churches) are supported by IVCF-ISM. Each church is definitely Christian, but each has a different style and some minor differences in beliefs (but we all follow the same Jesus and read the same Bible).
These are simply my PERSONAL recommendations. I hope you have an enjoyable experience! :)
Some students have had experiences with churches or group that call themselves "Christian", but do not act in a Christian way. These groups harrass and/or try to completely control peoples' lives, money and relationships. Unfortunately, there are such groups in Winnipeg that target students.
